In this episode, Rémy Bonny discusses the creation of visibility for the LGBTQ-movement with Bulgarian choreographer Kosta Karakashyan and Belgian spoken word artist Inke Gieghase through art. Both their work has been internationally recognised.
Kosta participated as a professional dancer in Dancing With The Stars in Vietnam and received international media attention after the release of his dance movie ‘Waiting For Colors’ on the persecution and torture of LGBTQ-people in Chechnya. He graduated from Colombia University in New York (USA) last year and is currently enrolled in the European Master at the Global Campus of Human Rights in Venice (Italy).
Inke is a Belgian spoken word artist. Her performances on queer issues brought her all over Europe: from Belgium to Italy and Ukraine. Besides her work as an artist, she also works as a journalist for several news outlets in Belgium on diversity-related issues.
